Description
Key Ingredients
Vitamins and minerals from real food sources, paired with time-tested superfood ingredients.
21 Vitamins and Minerals
Even if you eat a healthy diet, so much of our food today is grown in nutrient-depleted soil that makes it hard to get everything your body needs. This energizing multivitamin is designed to fill the gaps with 21 vitamins and minerals (including A, B, C, D, E and K) in high-quality forms, made to be easy for your body to absorb.
Superfood Support
This blend incorporates some of history’s most respected superfoods for healthy immune system support. Ingredients like organic andrographis aerial parts, green tea, ginger root and turmeric root extracts are typically more concentrated than just the plants themselves, and powerful mushrooms like cordyceps can help your body stay in balance; collagen-filled bone broth rounds out this superfood blend.
Wild Hake Roe & Beef Liver
An ancient nutritional powerhouse, liver is one of the most nutrient dense foods on the planet. It can help support healthy detoxification in the body, and it’s full of vitamin A, B-vitamins, iron, zinc, magnesium, selenium and more. We source ours from New Zealand cattle. Roe, or fish eggs, are packed with protein and essential fatty acids and fat-soluble vitamins — there are often more omega 3s in the roe than the fish itself. Our wild hake roe is sourced in New Zealand.
Bovine Liver
An ancient nutritional powerhouse, liver is one of the most nutrient dense foods on the planet. Containing vitamins A, D, B12, B2, B3, B5, B6, omega-3s, iron, folate, zinc and more, this liver from pasture-raised New Zealand cattle is amazing.

What is the complete list of vitamins and minerals in this supplement?
Vitamin A (Beta-Carotene)
A fat-soluble vitamin that comes from two sources: preformed retinoids and provitamin A carotenoids. These retinoids are found in animal sources such as eggs, liver and dairy products like whole milk, while provitamin A carotenoids come from colorful plant foods like fruits and vegetables. Beta-carotene typically leads the pack in most efficiently making retinol, a pre-formed, active form of vitamin A.
Probiotic-Fermented Vitamin C
Found mostly in fruits and vegetables, this essential vitamin is known for its powerful antioxidant properties and for its general benefits for supporting a healthy immune system.
Probiotic-Fermented Vitamin D3
Vitamin D plays a role in up to 2,000 genes and in every single tissue and cell of the body, yet 75 percent of American teens and adults don’t get enough. The immune-supporting vitamin D3 in this formulation is your body’s preferred form compared to vitamin D2.
Natural Vitamin E
A fat-soluble vitamin with many important processes in the body, this bioavailable, natural vitamin E also functions as an antioxidant.
Vitamin K (MK-7)
Vitamin K belongs to compounds called naphthoquinones and that includes vitamins K1, K2 and K3. Overall, vitamin K plays a strong role in bones and normal bone metabolism. Vitamin K2 also generally functions to ensure calcium gets to the right places in the body, such as the bones and teeth and not in the arteries or brain.
Generally speaking, vitamin K2 also functions to activate at least three proteins in osteoblasts, the cells that generate bone, while inhibiting the breaking down of bone. Vitamin K2 occurs in several forms, but two primary types are menaquinone-4 (MK-4) and menaquinone-7 (MK-7). MK-7 is a preferred form of vitamin K2, and the vitamin K2 form in Ancient Multi Immune Support Formula is MK-7.
Fermented and Coenzymated B vitamins
B vitamins serve as essential helpers in the conversion of food to energy. And while they do not directly provide that energy, they do assist the process. In fact, the vitamin B complex includes eight water-soluble vitamins: thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B6, folate, vitamin B-12, biotin and pantothenic acid.
This well-rounded vitamin B complex offers individual health benefits but work together in several ways. B vitamins are also water-soluble, so they need to be replenished often (if not every day) through diet and/or supplementation. The vitamin B-12 in Ancient Multi Immune Support is in the preferred methylcobalamin form, the form that’s typically the easiest for the body to use.
Calcium
A source of calcium derived from U.S.-produced eggshells, this form of calcium is body-friendly.
Iron
Traditionally a blood-building mineral, iron used in supplements sometimes tends to trigger digestive distress. Luckily, this formula utilizes iron that’s gentle on the digestive tract.
Iodine
Our iodine is derived from an enzymatic process which bonds amino acids to minerals: chelation. Chelated minerals, such as our iodine, generally have easier absorption rates.
Magnesium
One of the most crucial minerals, magnesium is involved in more than 300 biochemical functions in the body, such as regulating heartbeat rhythms and helping neurotransmitter functions.
Enzyme-Activated Zinc
An essential mineral that’s second only to iron in its concentration in the body, zinc is often referred to as the “intelligence mineral.” Functionally, the liver also needs zinc in sufficient amounts so it can mobilize and release stored vitamin A into the bloodstream.
Fermented Selenium
An essential mineral to support thyroid health†, selenium can also play a role in generally supporting a healthy immune system.
Manganese
As an essential nutrient that’s usually tied to iron and other minerals, manganese plays a role in numerous chemical processes, including synthesis of nutrients like cholesterol, carbohydrates and proteins. Also importantly, manganese is involved in the formation of bone mass and hormone functions that affect nearly every aspect of health.
Chromium
A hard and brittle metal, chromium is a trace mineral needed by the body.
What is TCM?
The Traditional Chinese Method (TCM) is a system of wellness that dates back more than 2,000 years and is still practiced today. It works on the belief that Qi (which loosely translates to “vital energy” and is pronounced “chee”) is essential for overall health. TCM principles adhere to the idea that proper Qi is needed to keep all systems in balance. This ties into the concept of yin and yang, defined as opposing but complementary energies. According to TCM, like Qi, yin and yang negatively affect your health when they’re out of balance. That being said, a primary goal of TCM involves balancing their equalizing relationship. One of the ways to do that involves using specific superfoods and herbs. TCM superfoods and superherbs aim to support the overall health of the systems of the body. TCM aims to create balance in the body as a whole to promote wellness and Qi. When the yin and yang aspects of Qi are harmonized and balanced out, a person typically experiences wellbeing.
How is TCM different than Ayurveda?
Both TCM and Ayurveda approach the body in a balancing way. They both address energy flow, circulation and balance in the body. For instance, that energy is referred to as Qi in TCM and prana in Ayurveda.
While there is overlap in some of the botanicals used in both TCM and Ayurveda, each tradition also utilizes specific plants and foods. Ayurveda was born out of India, so it often recommends traditional herbs and foods widely available in that region. TCM often focuses on botanicals and fungi more readily available in China. While TCM may utilize more animal products, Ayurveda does tend to recommend more dairy, like ghee, compared to TCM.
In essence, TCM and Ayurveda are different ways to approach wellness and balance from different regions of the world.

Is supplementation really necessary?
For many Americans the diet consumed isn’t nutritionally adequate. In fact, approximately two-thirds of the standard U.S. diet is made up of unhealthy fats and refined sugars with low or no nutrient density — providing calories but not the amounts of vitamins and minerals needed, including vitamins A, B Complex, C, D, E and the minerals calcium, magnesium and zinc. More specifically, typical diets contain less than 80% of the RDA for calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, copper, and manganese—and the people who are most at risk for coming up short on those nutrients are adult women and teenage girls. Here’s the truth: If two-thirds of the standard U.S. diets are coming up short on certain nutrients, then the remaining one-third of the average diet may not be so great, either, and cannot possibly fully meet a person’s nutrient needs. One great way to get more vitamins and minerals into your diet is to include nutrient-dense, real foods. Unlike our Standard American Diet, nutrient-dense foods can deliver a vitamin-packed and mineral-packed wallop. In addition to a nutrient-dense diet, some opt to take a multivitamin to help cover their bases.
